Waypoint ("we," "us") provides free educational information about Medicare and Social Security timing. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
When you use our questionnaire, we collect the answers you provide: age, spouse's age, work status, employer coverage status, doctor preferences, prescriptions you list, income bracket, and your stated priority. If you choose to receive your plan by email or request an advisor introduction, we also collect your name and email address.
Your answers are used to generate your personalized educational plan. If you opt in to an advisor introduction, your answers and contact information are shared with a licensed, independent Medicare advisor for that specific purpose. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we do not sell your data to data brokers or advertisers.
Waypoint is free to use. If you request an advisor introduction, we may receive a referral fee from the advisor you're connected with. This does not change what you pay, and there is no obligation to request an introduction to receive your free educational plan.
We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to understand which content and ads bring visitors to the site and whether they find it useful. This may involve cookies or similar technology that Google uses to measure ad performance. We do not use this data to identify you individually, and it is separate from the personal answers you give in the questionnaire.
We keep questionnaire responses and contact information only as long as needed to provide your plan and, if requested, your advisor introduction. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
You can complete the questionnaire without providing your name or email — you'll still see your plan on-screen. Providing contact information and opting into an advisor introduction are both optional and separate choices.
